Using a single hole punch for your inserts

What if you don’t have a 6-hole punch?

Don’t worry, you can use a single hole punch instead! How do you know where to place the holes when using a single hole punch?

Make sure you print in “Actual size” (scale 100%) or the guides will come out the wrong size. This is what it looks like in Adobe Acrobat Reader:

The guides can be printed on same or larger sized paper.

Cut the printed guides out. You can use scissors or a paper knife with a ruler. Make sure to place a cutting mat or some cardboard underneath to protect your table top.

Place your punch over the marked circles, and cut the holes out. You can also place this over a few sheets that you want to hole punch. Use the guide to punch several papers at once.

Repeat for all 6 holes.

Perfectly placed holes!
